The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Tucson is the religious home for those who respect the differences between people and affirm every person as an individual. We are a liberal religion born of the Jewish and Christian traditions, and we celebrate the unfolding truths of teachers, prophets, and sages throughout the ages. We believe human understanding of life and death, the world, and its mysteries is never final. Revelation is continuous. We believe that personal experience, conscience and reason should be the final authorities in religion; that ethical living is the supreme witness; and that all our relationships should be governed by justice, equity and compassion. We celebrate the union of LGBT couples and have ordained openly LGBT ministers for more than three decades.
